This is the first web site I have designed since I founded nick braimbridge specialist paint finishes in 1988 and I hope you find it easy and rewarding to navigate your way around.

I have always painted and been thrilled by what could be achieved with the application of paint. My formal education in Art School and my apprenticeships with two inspiring decorators gave me the principles by which I work. Subtle, unnamable colours, neat application, long lasting quality, without losing sight of the ephemeral nature of decoration.

The joy of specialist paint finishes is that each commission is different. The rooms we decorate are unique to each client. Yet the skills required can be the same as those devised more than 200 years ago.

Upon finishing a mural, there is frequently a sense that we have produced a little bit of history, and that we have given pleasure not only to our clients but also to the many visitors who view the work.
